I'm working on 4 scarves right now, and I'm happy to say I'm half way through. I have 2 complete and just have 2 more to go. I am also working on a blanket for my son (that feels like it's taking FOREVER! - BUT I know I'll be happy when it's complete.)
The first scarf I did for my niece was complete in a couple of hours... ok, maybe 6 at most... but hey, it was a long drive and I was happy to be able to do something. So that led me to think, maybe the rest of the family would like scarves too... so I am done as I said with the first two, and 3/4 through the 3rd one. I will post pictures when they are complete.

Ma's Shawl
This is the shawl I crocheted for my mom. I gave it to her this morning, she really liked it. I took one of the free patterns from a Caron yarn (Simply Soft) label and tweeked it to make it right for what it would be used for. I'm happy with how it turned out and am glad she likes it.
Because I made it so large, it took a LONG time to complete, and I thought I was never going to finish it, but I am pleased with the end result and I've proven to myself that I CAN finish large projects. :)
